Brilliance: Supporting Racialized Women Find Meaningful Employment
Keywords: research, service design, innovation, wire framing, prototyping, business model canvas.
Brilliance is a human-centered, data-driven, personalized, and globalized migration and career co-creative platform. The goal is to build a cohesive online platform that leverages the global access and reach of the internet to support our target audience where and when they need support to plan their migration paths and navigate any required re- and up-skilling to transition their careers in Canada.
The final outcome of Brilliance was developed over a 4-month long collaborative project. The process of this project included three phases: problem finding, problem framing, and problem solution. Problem solutions were presented as feasible enterprises, as required of the Business and Design Thinking course in OCAD University’s Strategic Foresight and Innovation Master’s of Design Program.
Brilliance was presented at OCAD University’s 2018 Hult Prize Competition.
